This is a quote with a strong sense of idealism which I support. However I cannot agree entirely for it appears to me to be a false syllogism. I think this because I see the premise of it as mistaken; this is my argument. Please, forgive my ramblings! (I know, unwanted disclaimer…)
The statement implies that a free society is made of free individuals, both poor and rich.
