This ning is for all members of the CSU Writing Project. Join our online community of writers and teachers of writing to share your ideas, insights, questions and comments.To sign up, just click the "Join" option in the upper right.

Once you join, you can customize your profile page, send private messages to other members, participate in groups and discussions that interest you, and share resources with others. As a member of the ning, you can start your own groups or discussions and invite your fellow members to respond. The Latest Activity feed (below) is your guide to the most recent contributions from other members.

A few people have asked us to suggest where "stuff" should go on the Ning. So below we've come up with a few helpful hints. That way, the Ning maintains some order as it continues to grow.

Blog Posts - A place for announcements for ALL WP members. Could include events, general information in addition to SI Daily Logs and Author's Chair/Demo reactions.

Discussion Forums (main page) - Again, for ALL WP members. A forum for writing to be shared with all, readings/articles or just a place ask big questions and maybe get some answers, or at least a conversation started.

Summer Institute Group - A place to post and discuss issues specific to the 2009 SI. Could include writing to be shared with whole group or continued discussions from SI daily work.

SI Writing Groups - Writing to be shared with your specific writing groups only.

SI Dropbox - A place to drop documents specific to the 2009 SI. Directions are given on dropbox page.
